A heartbroken mother has issued a last stern warning to her 19 year old robber son who is a repeat offender.
The son has been caught in multiple times stealing phones and his habit is costing the family financially.
In a tiktok video courtesy presenter Makila, the woman called Susan Wangui is interviewed by a local TV station and says her son "Anafanyanga wizi ya ku snatch simu. Naletewa case, hasiskii."
She said she is horrified by his actions
"Huyu mtoto nimemsomesha akamaliza hata form four. Venye alimaliza form 4, nikampekleka driving."
He was taken for employment opportunities that included a duka to sell wares. She also offered to set him up with an electronic shop.
He also refused to be given a loan to begin a car import business and even mjengo jobs.
The son rejected all offers and resorted to stealing.
"Alikataa akaniambia hawezi fanya kazi nzito na hawezi fanya kazi ya mjengo."
He has been frog marched to her house severally. One time , he was jailed for three months and her extended family members begged her to bail him out.
"Wakaniambia nimtoe. Nikamtoe. Nikamtoa na bond ya half a million."
She then begged him to be set up a business to avoid stealing, but her son wouldn't listen yet again.
"Kazi yake ni kuiba, mi najua ni muizi siwezi mtetea juusi mara ya kwanza nimeletewa macase za simu nyingi sana."
Her frustration has not been made easier because her warnings fall on deaf ears.
"Na nikamwambia asiyesikia la mkuu huvunjika guu. Nikamwam,bia asiyesikia mamake ni kufa."
The interviewer then asked her what she would advise others who have the same bad habits
"Na wale hufanya kazi kama hii nawahimiza wawache juu wakikataa kuwacha ata hao watakufa.
Kwa hivyo nawahisi tuu wafanye kazi na mikono yao ile mungu amewabarikia wawache wizi juu huyu wangu nimemwongelsha na nilimwabia asiyesikia la mamake huvunjika guu."
She repeated her condemnation of her son's actions, and how he faces a long and costly life.
Hayo ndio yamempata juu nimejaribu kumwongelsha hasikii. Hata saa hii ameitwa na simu akoachomoka aksema anaitwa na dame yake msupa.
