Entrepreneur and social media influencer Anerlisa Muigai is offering words of advice to women who are seeing and dying to be married...don't make it a public affair.
Through her Instagram stories, the Nero Water CEO maintained it was never that serious highlighting that publicizing your desperation was so cringe.
Anerlisa was reacting to the trending viral video where a bunch of Nigerian women were seen gathered at a church fervently praying for husbands while wearing wedding gowns, full faces of makeup, hair well done and some even had bouquets of flowers.
Sharing her two cents on the intriguing spectacle the Keroche Breweries CEO wrote;
“This is so cringe. It’s never that serious. Pray privately or without recording, we shouldn’t have to know,”
Anerlisa who was previously married to Tanzanian musician Ben Pol maintained that she left the marriage after she realized it was no longer serving her.
In a previous post the 35-year-old advised young girls y not to be pressured by anything or anyone to have kids, especially when they know they aren't financially and mentally ready.
She maintained that ought to always have their kids' future at the back of their minds because that was more important.
"Nowadays you have to look into your children's future but please don't forget to first get your sh*t together so you don't become a psychotic baby mama," part of Anerlisa's post read.
Finishing she reminded young girls not to get kids for the wrong reasons such as societal pressure or to keep a man, highlighting the decision sorely has to come from them when they are mentally and financially ready as taking care of kids was a demanding job.
'Lastly, let nobody pressure you to get children. You have to be fully mentally prepared as they need your full attention and love," the last of her post read.
