Internet sensation and comedian Elsa Majimbo has revealed that she donated over Sh70 million to the needy back in 2022.

Majimbo said that as a 20-year-old she could not justify why she had over Sh70 million in her bank account yet there were people out there who needed the money.

She went on to explain the act of kindness did not in any way deny her a luxurious lifestyle as she continued living her life normally – flying first class and buying expensive stuff.

"A little over a year ago, I asked them to drain all the money in my bank account and give it to people who need it more than I do. My reasoning was, as a 20-year-old I couldn't justify earning half a million dollars (Sh70 350 000). It's on Forbes, it's public information. I couldn't justify that.

"Like I just didn't need that kind of money to support my lifestyle. And don't get me wrong, I don't deprive myself of luxury, I fly first class, I like a nice Gucci bag, I love a nice Prada bag, but still, there's more left,” Elsa Majimbno said in part.

The comedian further stated that she is grateful for everything she earns and always prays to God to continue blessing her so that she can also bless others.

“And if I have been so blessed why not bless others when I came to this decision I was being told you deserve it, you have earned and you are so talented. But other people are talented too why aren’t they in my position?

“I’m grateful for what I earn yes!, Do I want more money, absolutely but I have more and I will always have more and I want my blessings to bless others. I’m deserving so I everyone else. I’m grateful for everything I have guys. I have been blessed and I want my blessing to bless other people too. And I hope and pray to God that I stick by that until the day I die,” Elsa added.

In June 2022, comedian Elsa Majimbo registered another win after being signed by IMG Models and WME.
