Former Kenyan musician turned Pastor Lovy Elias  Logomba popularly known as Prophet Lovy has shared a cryptic message highlighting tribulations he has been going through ever since he quit secular music.

The veteran artist who currently resides in the US bemoaned how some people were trying hard to tarnish his good name and deter him from his service in the gospel ministry.

Opening up about his challenges, Lovy detailed how it was sad that it wasn't stranger but people he actually not only knew but looked up to as well as “heroes of faith,” who were misusing his name to their own benefit.

“In my few years of serving the Lord Jesus Christ, I have come to understand that even those whom you look up to, your heroes of faith, including fathers, can quickly try to tarnish you for clicks and likes in this day and age," started off the veteran musician.

Prophet Lovy went on to add that despite the negativity he was receiving he would not be stooping to their level as his way was never to repay evil with evil lest it corrupts you.

"Nevertheless, love them and honour them, remembering they are only human and are not beyond mistakes. Never repay evil with evil, but rather let love always to lead the way, or else you become like them in your season,” part of his statement read.

Since relocating to the USA with his late brother Christian Logomba, years ago, Lovy has worked with notable international artist such as Iggy Azalea, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, K Michelle and Tinie Tempa.

Interestingly, he embarked on his Christian journey ten years ago before emerging as a church leader.

A week ago, Prophet Lovy, announced he would be making a musical come back. This saw him appear with an insane bang which has seen him produce and release not one, not 2 but ten songs in just four days.

He attributed his studio success to an insatiable sense to honour his late brother as well as his wife's support and God's guidance.

Besides working on helping others release their music Lovy has announced he's dipping his feet back in the musical pool as a singer. This will see his eons long musical hiatus coming to an end.

The US based preacher is set to release his first single dubbed 'Children of Zion,'
