Content creator Kelvin Kinuthia has started the process of undergoing a laser hair removal of his beards.
According to Mayo Clinic during laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the skin (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.
In the past Kinuthia has been shaving off his beard and sometime, he sought barber services for a clean cut.
"You can't see the beard cause most of the time I shave them and sometimes I wear make up. I sometimes lose psyche to do content craetion cause I have to go shave at the barber shop," he revealed on Youtube
"I used to have awkward moments when I get into the Kinyozi and people wonder why I went there, with a wig and braids."
Kinuthia said he will have laser hair removal sessions to finally say goodbye to his beards.
