John and Chrissy announced the news on their Instagram pages with Chrisssy adding that she was scared and excited at the same time

Grammy award-winning singer/ songwriter/producer and actor John Legend and his wife model/ TV and social media personality Chrissy Teigen just announced that they're expecting their third child together, almost two years after Chrissy suffered a miscarriage.

The 36-year-old model excitedly shared the news of their pregnancy with the world in an Instagram post.

Chrissy posted a mirror selfie showcasing her bulging baby bump noting "joy has filled our home and hearts again." 

In her long Instagram post, the mom of two admitted that she was still beyond nervous and scared as the loss she had suffered still clang to her.

She wrote, " the last few years have been a blur of emotions, to say the least...1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way."

She then went ahead to add that despite everything she was still very hopeful and she felt amazing. Noting that everything was at the moment perfect and beautiful.

"Every appointment I’ve said to myself, “ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce” but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.

I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew, it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long! " The rest of her post read. 

The very soft-spoken melodious John Legend on his Instagram post only shared a photo of his pregnant wife and captioned it with countless love heart emojis.

Back in September 2020, Chrissy and John lost their baby, whom the couple had named Jack after Chrissy suffered complications and bleeding.

Speaking about the loss the TV personality said that experiencing the miscarriage was "the greatest pain I could ever imagine".

At the time, she wrote that she and her husband were "shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we've never felt before".
