Former radio host Andrew Kibe is like our Kenyan Kanye West, vocal yet insanely controversial.
Well on this week's episode of Kibe descending rain on people, the content creator is calling out TV host Amina Abdi Rabar. Why you ask, well apparently he feels Amina is gatekeeping the road to success.
Practically like the same thing Eric Omondi was accusing Bien of. Remember that?
Kibe says the most darn things and I feel like this is one of those or maybe not. You'll be the judge of that.
The basis of his argument lies in the fact that Amina a week ago when interviewing the young lady, (who goes by the name Ivy Chelimo) who coined the name Riggy G for our deputy president failed to mention her social media handles.
According to Kibe, he feels Amina was trying to dim Chelimo's shine.
Gatekeeping the success circle in other words.
Apparently, Amina was trying to hold back on Chelimo's popularity growth by refraining from letting people know her social media handles/ how to contact her after the interview.
Sharing social media handles is something that she does with her guests after the show so as to help fans interact more with the guest or access their content if they're into any form of art.
Chelimo gained fame after Deputy President Rigathe Gachagua did an interview talking about how he loved his new nickname Riggy G.
Gachagua said he is ready to host Chelimo for dinner and he'd instructed his son to reach out to her.
"The young lady who decided that Rigathi Gachagua is a little bit difficult and not melodious, we need to give him the name Riggy G. To encourage our young people, I took up the name. I have told my sons to look for that girl to come we have dinner,” Gachagua said.
He added that he is more than ready to support the young Chelimo accomplish her dreams.
“I want to encourage that young girl, I will see what I will do for her so that I can see from my salary, I can boost her a little bit so that she can be able to do something," the DP promised.
