Socialite Kibanja eulogies her late dad

Kenyan socialite Agnes Chebet Kiplenge popularly known as Kibanja due to her social media handle is currently in deep mourning over the death of her dad.

Today during his burial, she dedicated an emotional tribute to her father and prominent lawyer Juma Kiplenge who was buried at his home in Muchongot Baringo county.

In the tribute, she talked about how her father was practically her best friend as she highlighted her immense love for her late father.

She also reminisced over all the good memories that they shared as well as the support, he has offered her throughout life.

"Daddy, we celebrate the good man you are. What you and I shared only the two of us know. 

Everyone around us saw the bond we had. You were so precious and unique, a guiding light in my life. 

You were my strength when I was weak, fly high sir." Wrote Kibanja.

Kibanja reminisced over how selfless her dad was as she shared a bouquet of white flowers next to his graveside.

The socialite promised to do great things in her life to make her father proud as well as to go ahead and lead a good life just like he had wanted her to.

Her brother pro golfer Kelvin Kiplenge also shared moments from the burial as he mourned his dad.

In a post, he wrote, "I guess this is goodbye. You will forever be in our hearts. 

We shall make your name greater than it currently is. I truly love you JK and I miss you." 

Lawyer Juma Kiplenge passed away on the 7th of October 2022 after battling a short illness. 

He has left behind two children (Kibanja and her brother Kelvin) and his wife.

He has been eulogized by a lot of prominent people including President William Samoei Ruto as a man who fought for the rights of many.
