Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz got a nose piercing over the weekend.
The singer took the bold step while on his visit to Malawi. Diamond joins other male celebrities who've rocked nose rings like Frankie Just Gym it, Timmy Tdat, Davido, 2pac Shakur, Chris Brown among others.
There is pain involved after the piercing. Some people experience blood, tenderness of the nose or swelling. Experts say this should not take more than three weeks.
Before the piercing;
Before the piercing, make sure the sterile needle is open from a new package in front of you. Make sure the tattoo artiste uses gloves while piercing you. Your nose must be cleaned with a disinfectant before the piercing. The jewellery should also be sterilized. The artist should give you clear information on how to care for your nose.
After the piercing;
Clean your nose as instructed
Clean your hands before handling your nose or jewellery
Avoid swimming in dirty water
To care for your nose until it’s healed:
Keep your jewellery intact to avoid it from closing up.
Use material such as stainless steel, gold or titanium for your jewellery.
