Nadia Mukami has been listed as one of the artistes that will be performing in Rwanda during the Trace Awards.

Previously, Kenyan gospel musician Janet Otieno had been confirmed. The two nominated Kenyans will join other African artistes at the BK Arena in Kigali.

Other additions to the star-studded lineup include Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Mr Eazi (Nigeria), Azawi (Uganda), BNXN (Nigeria), Camidoh (Ghana), Chriss Eazy (Rwanda), Fireboy DML (Nigeria),  Musa Keys (South Africa), Olamide (Nigeria), Uganda's Ghetto Kids among others.

The artists join previously announced performers and nominees including Davido , Asake, Kizz Daniel among many others.

 
 

The awards celebrate the creativity, talent, and influence of African and Afro-inspired music and artists. 

The awards showcase the excellence and diversity of Afro-centric music in genres such as Afrobeat, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Afro-pop, Mbalax, Amapiano, Zouk, Kizomba, Genge, Coupé Décalé, Bongo Flava, Soukous, Gospel, Rap, Rai, Kompa, R&B, and Rumba.

Competing in 25 award categories are platinum-selling artists from more than thirty countries in Africa, South America, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean, and Europe.

 
 

The event will go down on 21st October this year.

This comes a week after Mukami shone at the Afrimma Awards taking home the award for East African Female Artiste.
