And it seems entrepreneur and musician Akothee is a master of both.
The mother of 5 after publicly announcing she was no longer single just showed off the face of her new man in an incredibly cute Instagram video.
After weeks of speculations, we finally got to see the face of the mzungu man who is taking over from Nelly Oaks.
The two were first seen enjoying a meal by the beach along with the company of a few friends, before Akothee shared a video of them having some fun at the beach on the coast.
The playful couple was seen chasing after each other in white sands and the man could be seen playfully grabbing Akothee from the back in the video before giving her a swing.
In the caption, Akothee hinted that the two had a deal that she will say yes to him if he manages to take her down which he did.

She captioned it, "Sawa basi,It's yeeeeeeeeees.
Someone tell my mum atoke tu church aende home I went for a lunch date in mombasa shortly."
Three months ago, Akothee surprised fans when she revealed she had called it quits with ex-boyfriend Nelly Oaks.
She also revealed that she had mentally checked out of the relationship for a whole six months before officially breaking up with Nelly Oaks
Speaking on the matter she wrote, " I have walked out of other relationships with different ups & downs, so this last one shouldn't be a shock or a surprise.
It's just a personal decision, I need time to concentrate on my new Found happiness with less destruction.
I need to work on myself and my career, I am not ready for any commitment, questions, or answers to what transpired just didn't want to hurt anyone. but sorry it is what it is"
In her post, the boss lady further said that she retained utmost respect for Nelly Oaks since they have family attachments and also wished him all the best.
"Me and Mr. N have a family Relationship back in Rongo. For that matter let's respect family and keep family RESPECT.
He is not someone I just picked on the streets. So for that matter Wishing All of you the best of life," she added.
