Former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko's firstborn daughter, Saumu Mbuvi has shared a few words of wisdom with girls across social media.

This is in line with the ongoing cases of femicide being reported across the country.

The mother of 2 urged ladies to always keep in mind (even as they chase the bag) that people more often than never usually have hidden motives and their lives are, " more precious than anything in this world,"

Sonko's daughter shared a screen grab of a message she had received from a man who has been trying to woo her with his alleged vast wealth.

According to the post, the man could be seen bragging about the properties he owned in a bid to try and secure a date with Saumu.

"I have a factory in Nairobi and I have 700 personnels at Nairobi. I have houses at Westlands and near Mama Lucy. Also, I have two offices at Kayole and a factory near there," part of the message read.

Sharing a different post, the man could be seen asking, “Sunshine, can I send you flowers tomorrow?”

The mother of 2 revealed that her DM's are usually full with such messages from strangers trying to entice her, promising to send her money and other gifts but she has never fallen for the advances.

One would argue probably because she is from a wealthy family and is privileged but Saumu notes it's because she understands the consequences that comes with rushing for a fast life.

“Every day, I get such requests from strangers. I receive these kinds of messages from men trying to send gifts and money to me for me to meet them, but I am not moved by such useless things," the mental health advocate wrote.

She went on to share tidbits of advice encouraging girls to stop meeting strangers no matter how lucrative the promises sound.

"I would like to advise my young sisters out there. To my young sisters, it’s not safe out there; people have hidden motives everywhere.

Don’t go meeting strangers in the name of promises. Don’t rush for the fast life; your life is more precious than anything in this world," the last of her post read.
