On the Drive Show yesterday with Mwalimu Rachel and Xclusive, the duo discussed whether gym wear is genuinely comfortable or merely a thirst trap.

Xclusive kicked off the conversation by asking Mwalimu Rachel if she still goes to the gym or has completely stopped working out.

In response, Mwalimu Rachel stated that women should be allowed to wear whatever they want as long as they stay fit.

"Do you still have your gym clothes that you bought?" Xclusive asked Mwalimu Rachel.

"It's interesting you mention that because I was just thinking I need an upgrade. I've had these gym clothes for a while," Mwalimu Rachel responded.

Xclusive then expressed his issue with gym clothes manufacturers, arguing that the design of modern gym clothes seems more like a thirst trap than comfortable workout wear.

"This must be a Gen Z designer creating these new outfits, with the way they fit around your behind," Mwalimu Rachel explained.

Xclusive continued, saying that these modern gym outfits make someone's butt appear bigger than it usually is.

"That's it; it's to encourage you and keep you motivated. That's what I need," Mwalimu Rachel said.

According to Mwalimu Rachel, these are the kind of gym clothes women should wear because a bit of sexiness can go a long way in keeping them motivated while lifting weights.

"You're distracting men," Xclusive pointed out.

In response, Mwalimu Rachel said that if men are getting distracted, they should go work out in the aerobics room.

"If it's too distracting, separate rooms are fine," Mwalimu said.

Xclusive suggested that if women went to the gym without men around, they wouldn't wear those attention-grabbing outfits.

"People wear those clothes because of men; there's no other reason," Xclusive claimed.

Mwalimu Rachel concluded by saying that everyone knows why they go to the gym, so people should just have fun.
