Single women in Nandi register as widows to get support
On the drive show with Mwalimu Rachel she revealed a confession of a lady who disclosed that single ladies in Nandi are registering as widows so as to get support.
"Huku hatuna maandamano, huku maandamano iliishia kwa shamba, but anyway Mwalimu Rachel mimi nikona swali tu kwani siku hizi widows inamanisha nini because like imagine women have been going, wameenda kuregister peasa ya widows na hao wanawake ni venye tu ni single mothers, wazee wako kando wajakufa," the lady disclosed.
"These guys are registering as widows, I really need to understand jina widows ni kina nani juu heeh! hii village inanionyesha mambo, this women out here are crazy like it a whole village wameenda kutafutana na widows. Watu munauwa watu huku tu na wako hai gai."
This story really amused Mwalimu Rachel since women seem really desperate, after all desperate times calls for desperate measures which they are actually doing.
Mwalimu Rachel then went on and asked if they are wrong or justified ethically according to the listeners views.
"Do you think it's wrong for them to say they are widows when in actuality they are single mothers ama unaona if this man is not paying child support or supporting in any way, isn't he as good as dead ama," Mwalimu Rachel said.
