Rapper Stevo Simple Boy has released a statement after he collapsed in the middle of an interview he was conducting yesterday evening.

The 'Mihadarati' crooner had made an appearance on the music show 10 Over 10 much to the joy of his fans and the crowd present.

He appeared well at first before his interview with the show host Azeezah, commenced. Shortly afterwards, he appeared weak and to be struggling with standing straight.

Stevo bended his torso clutching his knees probably in a bid to steady himself or regulate his breathing, with his face contorted in pain. That did not seem to help as the artist ended up collapsing live on air.

Those in attendance, alongside the host were left super confused and in shock, before crew came in and carried the 'Freshi Barida' artist to the podium.

On his socials, the artist intimated that too much pressure is what had led to him fainting while conducting his interview.

"Kuna pressure kwa streets," the artist simply wrote on his social media page.

While the show was still going on, Azeezah gave the artist (who at this point had left the vicinity) a call to check up on his health and to have him reassure his worried fans everywhere that he was recuperating well.

Responding to the queries Stevo Simple boy confirmed he was doing well.

"Right now, I am doing well, everything will be well. I will talk more later on and share it on my Instagram account so that my fans can know what is going on," the artist said.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the artist revealed he has been having issues with his manager as he begged them to come back so as to help him navigate the industry.

"Meneja rudi tupige kazi nimeishiwa nguvu watu wasitukosanishe.

Stress inanipiga mpaka naanguka kwa stage niki perform mnatakuniaribia mpaka manager," wrote Stevo.

This loosely translates to;

"Manager, come back we continue working like we used to. Strength has failed me, don't let people divide us or make us fight. I have so much stress that I even fainted while on stage performing.

Do you people want to ruin even my manager?"
